BOOK 18 status

Book 18 first draft is done. Over 72k words. I wanted it to be bigger but I'm flat out out of time.

I'm putting a little blog at the end of it since its going to be my last traditional book. It's getting harder to write. I notice the last 30% of each book gets very hard to write. Like stuffing water in a water bottle that's already full, but trying to get the last airbubbles out.

My heads getting fuzzier again and I notice I'm making a lot more typos. I probably have another of bad migraine episodes coming.

Plus the news is getting worse. So hopefully putting the blog at the end of my book is a nice book-end to the whole thing. Sort of explained how I came up with the timeline and my predictions for the near future.

Going to try to squeeze in a few more stories into book 18 and plan on publishing it Sept 15th. Hopefully a few more lighthearted stories instead of all the doom and gloom, it's hard to find escapism right now, so we'll see.

I know i could have released all of these as independant books but cramming them into a single book has been a lot of joy. I hope everyone else enjoys it too.

I couldn't have done this without yall providing all the awesome input into book 18, i really appreciate yall. I'll update this again when book 18 is done.

Also I have a youtube channel just for the book, check out "PNW AFFLICTION" on youtube. I have a dlive "CHANCE PALADIN" and I have a patreon "CHANCE PALADIN" though I'm not sure what to do with the Patreon.

I apologize for all the typos and phonetic misspellings and any confusing explanations in my books. I really did my best, so thank you for the patience. I know these books aren't perfect, and they never were meant to be. They're just me. So I hope you can accept the books at that value.

Thanks as always and stay safe.

PNW Affliction 1: Recycled - The Retrospective

PNW Affliction 1: Recycled - The Retrospective Alright. This's been a long time coming, and there's probably no real better place to start than at the beginning. Spoilers abound, although this's mostly "behind the story" type stuff. This book isn't actually the beginning of the story by any means. It's the beginning of the main character though, and it's how this whole "universe" got started. Basically I had a dream one night of walking and it getting progressively darker until there was no light left. Just like nearly every single one of my books, this started out with a basic premise. Really no more than a "first act" if you will. I wrote the first act, peppered in with some things that were real, like me having a cat that played with a plastic bag while I tried to sleep. I can't exactly remembered where the premise came from for act two, except that I've always been fascinated by recycling and the recycling logo. ...

9/5/2018 update

Free book weekend went good. Gave away 36 more books between book #1 and book #5. Slowly working on book #14 and 15 at the same time. I hate it when this happens. I still don't have a tablet I can type on to write books when I'm actually inspired so I have two spiral bound notebooks alternating between two stories. I decided to shelve part of 14 and make it into a standalone novel, the other part of 14 will focus on the core of the story I was trying to tell instead of running off with itself. #13 just needs to be edited. I'm 3-4 books behind in my editing and half the people that've read my books only comment is, "I need an editor." If they only knew how much that would cost me. I have reached out to several publishers and the responses range to being ignored to flat out insulted at the sheer thought of it. You're apparently supposed to do the whole thing yourself, then hire someone who pitches your book or some nonsense, whatever. Wtf is the point of...

Thanksgiving Weekend Sunday Status

Hey buddies! Looks like we've given away around 30+ books so far, which isn't bad by any measure. I also finished writing book #15, which I changed to book #14 so I didn't confuse people. It makes sense anyway after I thought about it more because #14 actually had the bookend to the second big storyarc. 13 and 14 should be publishing within the next few days, and I worked my absolute ass off on both of them trying to cram in as much as I could. So 13 is still 13, 15 is 14, and 14 will be 15. I'm starting writing 15 next, then probably 6 months of re-edits like I did this year. I'm not exactly sure how long 15 will take to write, but I'm actually going to try to get it done by Dec 31st, which I might be able to do because I'll be taking some more time off around Christmas/New Years, and if I'm not completely done with it by then, that's when I will be wrapping it up. I actually have several legitimately good arcs drafted for book 15. It's ...
