book 18, final book. And how YOU can help!

Hello All. Wanted to let you know book 18 has officially started. Going to be my last book. All short stories. No heavy crossover work like 15, 16, and 17 did. They will have nods and references to each other, but that's it. Going to be ordered chronologically to hopefully at least help continuity a little bit.

Book 18 is going to take a long time to write. I'm trying to wrap up every loose end from the prior 17 books that anyone could possibly be interested in. Which is why I wanted to let everyone know, if you've read any of my prior books, I'm taking ideas for stories to either expand on or finish up in this book. Just let me know.

Back to writing, cya'll later!

Thanksgiving Weekend Sunday Status

Hey buddies! Looks like we've given away around 30+ books so far, which isn't bad by any measure. I also finished writing book #15, which I changed to book #14 so I didn't confuse people. It makes sense anyway after I thought about it more because #14 actually had the bookend to the second big storyarc. 13 and 14 should be publishing within the next few days, and I worked my absolute ass off on both of them trying to cram in as much as I could. So 13 is still 13, 15 is 14, and 14 will be 15. I'm starting writing 15 next, then probably 6 months of re-edits like I did this year. I'm not exactly sure how long 15 will take to write, but I'm actually going to try to get it done by Dec 31st, which I might be able to do because I'll be taking some more time off around Christmas/New Years, and if I'm not completely done with it by then, that's when I will be wrapping it up. I actually have several legitimately good arcs drafted for book 15. It's ...

PNW Affliction 1: Recycled - The Retrospective

PNW Affliction 1: Recycled - The Retrospective Alright. This's been a long time coming, and there's probably no real better place to start than at the beginning. Spoilers abound, although this's mostly "behind the story" type stuff. This book isn't actually the beginning of the story by any means. It's the beginning of the main character though, and it's how this whole "universe" got started. Basically I had a dream one night of walking and it getting progressively darker until there was no light left. Just like nearly every single one of my books, this started out with a basic premise. Really no more than a "first act" if you will. I wrote the first act, peppered in with some things that were real, like me having a cat that played with a plastic bag while I tried to sleep. I can't exactly remembered where the premise came from for act two, except that I've always been fascinated by recycling and the recycling logo. ...

Free Thanksgiving Weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving! Books #1, 10, and 12 are free this weekend to celebrate Thanksgiving as well as the release of book #13 and #15 by the end of the weekend. Skipping #14 for now because continuity is overrated. :D If the giveaway does well enough, I'll release a few more for free throughout the weekend, so we'll see. Stay tuned all weekend. Tell your friends please, without word-of-mouth nobody will know about the books if you enjoyed them. Thanks as always. Have a good time with family and then read free books! -Chance
